Veterinary POCUS Workshop – Sydney 2025

Our 2-Day VPOCUS Workshop keeps getting better every year. The 2025 event brings something truly special — for the first time, Dr Søren Boysen and Dr Serge Chalhoub were teaching together in Australia.

These two internationally recognised trailblazers in veterinary POCUS have developed many of the techniques now used around the world. Their workshops sell out globally — and it’s easy to see why. They’re award-winning, dynamic educators who make even complex scanning techniques practical and accessible.

Before the hands-on sessions, participants complete eight hours of online lectures to build a solid foundation. Then it’s two full days of scanning, covering abdominal, pleural space and lung, cardiovascular, pathology and nerve block protocols. There was even a Vascular Chicken Phantom Olympics — equal parts fun and fierce competition!

This was the first time Søren and Serge have been in Australia together, and it did not disappoint. They teamed up to deliver some of the most comprehensive and engaging cardiac scanning sessions we’ve ever hosted, supported by our local team: Pam Manning, Mark Haworth, Claire Sharp and Joanna Whitney.
